Bahman Ahmadi earned Ph.D. degree in urban planning from the Faculty of Fine Arts, the University of Tehran in 2019, with the dissertation entitled: “Explaining the Concept of Tenure Security in Upgrading of Informal Settlements”. His topics of interest in academic research include the study of suburban areas, informal settlement, and urban planning theories. Also, in the field of profession, he has a history of cooperation with the Road, Housing and Urban Development Research Center in developing research projects related to the establishment of a system for monitoring physical changes in the country and teaching urban planning laws and regulations, and, he has collaborated with urban planning consulting engineers in preparing and arranging urban and regional development plans.
